Himmler's message from 21st December 1942 accompanying a gift of Julleuchter candle. It conveys the best wishes for the upcoming 1943 and reflects on 1942 as a year in whch German nation under leadership of Adolf Hitler, members of armed forces, in particular SS, passed its tough test. 
Well, as we know, the 1943 didn't start well for them - a month after SS soldiers lit their Julleuchters, Stalingrad surrendered with ~800 thousands German casualities.
