Paratrooper Badge & more

Fallschirmschützenabzeichen

The Paratrooper Badge  (German: Fallschirmschützenabzeichen) was introduced in two versions - one for Luftwaffe in September 1936 and one for Heer in November 1937. Why two different versions? Who knows... Probably due to the egos of respective commanders. Both were awarded at the end of the paratrooper training.

Krause's Paratrooper collection includes:

  1. Award certificate for Heer (Army)

  2. Award certificate for Luftwaffe (Airforce)

  3. Fallschirmjäger Photo ID

  4. Fallschirmjäger "Sweetheart" Pendant
