George's Patton - commander of the Third US Army and the military governor of Bavaria till discharged due to open anti-Semitism and sympathizingwith Nazis. 
 
George Patton was the most feared Allied commander. Germans appreciated his tactics and suffered number of defeats at his hand. In return Patton liked Germans (referred to them as the "only decent people in Europe"), was reluctant with denazification and shared  some Germans opinion, they should jointly go to war against the Soviet Union.
