Great reproductions of third Reich Feldpost stamps made directly from originals. The stamps have no gum on the reverse. Sold as strip of 5 stamps.

 

Please make your selection:

  1. The blue one (with airplane) was for letters to/from home. 4 were issued every month to each soldier allowing for 4 free letters to/from home. Soldier would write a letter, affix one stamp and send the 2nd in the envelope for his relatives to use for reply.
  2. The red one (with eagle) was issued to soldier for packages from home. 1-2 were issued to soldiers monthly depending on the period. He would send them to his relatives in a letter to receive a package back. 
  3. Special issue: Blue with airplane with "Inselpost" overprint - these were for the soldiers stationed on the island of Crete (Greece)
  4. Special issue: Green (with eagle) was issued in 1944 for Christmas packets. Last Christmas of the Third Reich. 
  5. Special issue: One with palm tree (symbol of Deutsche Afrika Korps, DAK) was issues a couple od months before German army in Africa surrendered. Most were destroyed. Due to its appeal (Rommel, etc.) and rarity these are one of the most faked stamps there are, so beware if you're looking for originals.
