This is a very rare propaganda broadside calling for Adolf Hitler to be again given the right to speak publicly after Bavarian authorities had banned it due to his caustic and extreme rhetoric.

The broadside comes with

  • signed photo of young Hitler (early signature)
  • English translation

History:

Several days after re-foundation of NSDAP on 9 March 1925 Hitler was banned from public speaking by Bavarian government. Most other German states soon followed suit. The ban was only lifted on 5 March 1927.

To further the party's power while unable to speak himself, Hitler appointed Joseph Goebbels, Gregor Strasser, and Otto Strasser to enlarge the Nazi Party in northern Germany, which saw huge success.

Translation of the broadside:

White-collar worker! Blue-collar worker!
Who is Adolf Hitler?
The man of the People for the People! The German front soldier, who risked his life in 48 battles for Germany!
What does Adolf Hitler want?
Freedom and bread for every honestly working German! The gallows for usurers, smugglers and exploiters, regardless of religion and race!
Why is Adolf Hitler not allowed to speak?
Because he ruthlessly removes the mask from the face of the ruler of the German economy, the international bank Jew and his servants, the Democrats, Marxists, Jesuits and Freemasons. Because he wants to free the workers from the rule of the rich! Call for an immediate lifting of the illegal ban on speaking!
