Reproduction of Close Combat Clasp (Nahkampfspange) certificate which was awarded for achievement in hand-to-hand fighting in close quarters. It's available for all grades:

  • bronze (Stufe I) for 15 days of close combat (reduced to 10 if wounded),
  • silver (Stufe II) for 30 days (reduced to 20 if wounded) and
  • gold (Stufe III) for 50 days (reduced to 40 if wounded)

From 30 August 1944, recipients of the gold clasp were also awarded the German Cross in gold and recipients of the silver clasp - the Iron Cross first class. Both without the need for any further justification.

From 8 October 1944, those awarded the gold clasp also received 21 days special leave. Gold clasp would be awarded by Adolf Hitler himself. Only 631 were ever awarded (less than Oak Leaves to the Knight's Cross). 

As all Krause Papierwerke certificates it can be sold blank or filled out as per your direction (personalized). Choose rank, name, unit and date of the award if selecting personalized version.  Date should be after 25 November 1942 when the award was instituted, if you care for historical accuracy.
